Senior Lead Architect - Data Platforms at
JPMorganChase , within the Enterprise Technology, AI/ML & Data Platforms organization. You will enhance and develop innovative, cloud-based architecture platforms and promote the execution of strategic global solutions across the firm. Responsibilities
Design and implement a data mesh architecture that decentralizes data ownership and management across domain teams. Develop and maintain data architecture standards, including data product interfaces, data contracts, and governance frameworks. Collaborate with domain teams to understand their data needs and provide guidance on best practices for data product development. Leverage AWS services (e.g., AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda) to build scalable and secure data solutions. Implement data governance and security measures to ensure data quality and compliance with industry standards. Monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of data products and infrastructure. Provide training and support to domain teams on data mesh principles and AWS technologies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data mesh and cloud computing. Champion the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Formal training or certification on Data Architecture concepts and 5+ years of applied experience Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Advanced in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architecture Advanced knowledge of Data architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) Expert level with Databricks, Snowflake, Starburst, Trino, AWS Database & Analytics Hands on experience in working on BI and AI/ML solutions with business stakeholders and data scientists Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills Prior Fin-tech experience preferred Strong team player About Us
