Senior Business Analyst

to join our growing team out of our Worcester, MA location. Position is eligible for Hybrid/Flex work arrangement. This is a Full-time, Exempt role. Responsibilities

Incumbents serving in the Business Analysis job family are responsible for the collection, development, analysis, documentation, and communication of business needs and requirements. Throughout an assignment, Business Analysts act as a liaison while they interface and work collaboratively with technology and business organizations. Analyze requirements, develop specifications, storyboard and prototype to facilitate the design of integrated solutions. Apply knowledge of business analysis, business processes and project methodologies to all assignments. Develop a solid understanding of business partners’ existing processes, key drivers, measures of success, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and technology. Identify, propose, and execute innovative solutions; negotiate requirements across multiple partners or departments; understand project scope management. Maintain a high-level understanding of the overall IT architecture to understand issues and implications of proposed system and hardware solutions. Senior Business Analyst Project Complexity

Performs work across multiple initiatives and processes. Supports and/or leads highly complex business/technical processes or multiple products, requiring design or integration of technical solutions across multiple departments or lines of business. Serves primarily as a subject matter expert and may lead projects of large scope and moderate to high complexity. Works independently and leverages resources when needed. Has an understanding of and ability to apply knowledge of multiple technical business systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Providing technical expertise across business functions, understanding the relationship between the business and the data and technology that support the business or product. Managing the collection, analysis, documentation, and coordination of multiple business and/or technical requirements which may include, but is not limited to: Facilitating planning sessions with multiple business partners to improve business processes or products. Establishing relationships with one or more business partners by demonstrating expert knowledge of business processes/drivers and technical systems, being proactive, and managing the development and implementation of innovative solutions. Working with business partners to define needs to align with business priorities and assess impact on other business processes. Advising business partners on options, limitations, risks, and cost vs. benefits and ensuring a structured requirement process for the business is adhered to. May be accountable for a portion of a project plan in collaboration with project managers, from requirements phases through design, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Typical Education and Experience

Typically requires seven to ten years of relevant technical and business work experience. Requires in-depth knowledge of business operations, requirements processing, business modeling concepts, information systems and project life-cycle knowledge, and business process development. Bachelor’s degree in related field; specialized training, certification or equivalent work experience. Career Development
