Senior Plant Director role at Honeywell. Join to lead our Manufacturing site in Freeport, Illinois. Our campus spans two locations in Freeport with over 600 employees and includes fabrication processes such as machining, stamping, heat treatment, plating, brazing, and welding, along with a significant assembly operation. Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the plant. Build quality into our products and processes. Oversee and guide the plant operations to meet production targets and deliver on customer commitments. Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations, improve productivity, and reduce costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices. Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from targets. Manage the plant budget and resources effectively to achieve financial goals. Note:
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S. The annual base salary range for this position is $225K - $275K. This salary serves as a general guideline and Honeywell considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education and training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer. This position is incentive plan eligible. Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
8+ years experience in a Manufacturing environment as a Site Leader Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. WE VALUE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Strong knowledge of lean, six sigma tools and problem solving methodology Strong understanding of data analytics Understanding of business objectives and the ability to interact with customers and suppliers Persuasion to influence others to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches Diverse and global teaming and collaboration Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization Quick response and proactive mindset to drive results Able to develop strong networks and build relationships About Honeywell
