Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level/Hourly, Software Associate Degree Programmer in various locations.
Responsibilities
Support the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code and unit test, integration, and support to formal test / delivery; working with experienced engineers creating solutions which will enable NASA to continue to explore deep space and provide support to the U.S. Intelligence Community. Assist in final systems hardware and software integration and testing; generate the required documents for spacecraft delivery and complete coding and unit level testing.
Basic Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline. Aspirations to pursue a Bachelor Degree. Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain security clearance
Desired Skills
Ability to work in an agile environment and handle multiple priorities and internal customers. Experience with Python, Matlab, Simulink, R, or equivalent data science toolsets. Familiar with real-time development environments and languages (C, C++). Classroom knowledge of embedded software / hardware, Networks, SQL/NoSQL, Information Security Domain. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Poly.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $48,500 - $85,675. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Salary is a general guideline and factors such as scope and responsibilities, work experience, education/training, key skills, and market considerations are considered when extending an offer. Benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. Note: Washington state applicants have specific PTO and holiday accruals described in policy.
