Overview

Generative Systems Architect (AI-Led, Golang) – San Jose, California, United States Axiad is an identity security company tackling the threats posed by compromised credentials. Our solutions integrate with existing IAM infrastructures to strengthen security and reduce attack surfaces, enabling phishing-resistant, strong authentication methods. We are seeking a visionary Generative Systems Architect to pioneer the future of software creation. This role blends traditional architecture with a full-stack AI development ecosystem. You will fuse 12+ years of software development experience and deep expertise in the Go programming language with a suite of sophisticated AI tools to steer the architectural design and automated development of mission-critical IAM systems. Instead of direct hands-on coding, you will be the strategic mind guiding AI coding agents. You will translate complex business objectives into architectural blueprints and high-level prompts, directing our AI from ideation to implementation. The AI-First Development Environment

Your core toolkit is designed for high-level abstraction and strategic oversight: Ideation & Requirements with PM AI tools like devplan:

Generate and refine user stories, product requirements, and technical specifications through iterative AI-assisted dialogues. AI-Driven Implementation with AI coding agents like ClaudeCode, Cursor:

Direct our AI coding agent to translate architectural designs into high-quality, performant Go code. Intelligent Review with AI code review tools like CodeRabbit:

Leverage AI to handle syntax, style, and boilerplate reviews, allowing you to focus on validating logic, security, and integrity of AI-generated output. Role Responsibilities

AI-Driven Technical Leadership Define and drive enterprise-wide architectural standards and best practices for Go-based applications. Lead AI-augmented architectural design sessions, using devplan to translate business objectives into robust blueprints for AI execution. Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and tools that enhance the performance and capabilities of our AI-driven development process. Establish design patterns and development methodologies optimized for an AI-first workflow, ensuring scalable, resilient, and maintainable microservices architectures. Generative Development & Orchestration Generate high-quality, performant Go code by authoring precise, context-rich prompts and specifications for our AI coding agent, ClaudeCode. Oversee AI-assisted code reviews with CodeRabbit, focusing on architectural integrity and logical soundness of the output. Rapidly prototype and develop proof-of-concepts for new architectural approaches by directing AI agents, validating complex ideas faster. Guide the AI to debug and optimize performance bottlenecks in production systems. System Design & AI-Powered Architecture Design and architect large-scale distributed systems and microservices by defining the high-level strategy and constraints for AI implementation. Use AI tools to generate and curate technical documentation and architectural diagrams, keeping them in sync with the evolving codebase. Translate scalability, security, and high availability requirements into clear directives for the AI development process. Plan and execute system migrations and modernization initiatives by leveraging AI to analyze existing systems and generate refactoring strategies. Skills and Requirements

Experience & Technical Expertise Direct, hands-on experience with AI-first toolchains (e.g., devplan, ClaudeCode, CodeRabbit) or similar platforms. 4-6 years of software development experience with strong programming and computer science fundamentals. 4-6 years of deep expertise in the Go programming language and its ecosystem, enabling you to guide, critique, and validate AI-generated Go code. Extensive experience designing microservices architectures and distributed systems. Strong architectural knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in defining schemas and interaction patterns for SQL and NoSQL databases. Deep understanding of event-driven principles, including message queues and event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Expertise in RESTful APIs, gRPC, and modern API design principles. Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions. Familiarity with providers like Auth0, Okta, or Azure AD is preferred. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automating AI-generated code deployment. Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack. Leadership & Soft Skills Proven track record of leading technical teams and mentoring developers, with the ability to inspire a shift toward new paradigms. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for collaborating with AI to solve complex problems. Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both human stakeholders and AI agents. Ability to balance technical excellence with business requirements and timelines in an Agile/Scrum environment. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with advanced event-driven architectures and CQRS patterns. Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Deep knowledge of security best practices and secure coding principles. About Us
