Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated APP (Advanced Practice Provider), Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing epilepsy team at Westchester Medical Center—a leading academic medical center in the NY metro area. This strictly outpatient-focused role is ideal for an APP interested in neurology or subspecialty care who thrives in a collaborative, fast-evolving setting and values a balanced life. Summary
Be part of an up-and-coming epilepsy program that is expanding its reach, innovation and patient care impact. Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays or calls. Have a great opportunity to work closely and collaboratively with epileptologists on continuity of care, EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) planning and device/neuromodulation management. Flexible shifts. The primary schedule is 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week. Responsibilities
Evaluate and follow patients in the epilepsy outpatient clinic. Coordinate care with EMU attendings and Epilepsy faculty. Manage routine follow-up, patient education, medication adjustments, and pre- and post-procedural care. Collaborate closely with the front desk, EEG and surgical teams. Assist in optimizing outpatient workflows and device management protocols. Qualifications/Requirements
Board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner who possesses or is eligible to obtain an applicable NYS license. Ideal candidates will have prior neurology or academic medicine experience, but new graduates and those without neurology experience will be considered. Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to grow with a dynamic program.
