Position: Project Manager and Technical Lead – environmental investigation and remediation projects. Provides project management and technical leadership and assists in developing technical staff to meet client and organizational needs.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field.
Minimum of 7 years of environmental consulting experience.
Professional certification as applicable (P.G./LSP/LSRP/CIH/CSP, etc.), or, in the absence of certification, a minimum of 7 years working with a licensed professional in the applicable discipline.
Proficient in performing senior level interpretation work including remedial cost estimates, future remedial measures selection, and costing.
Experience designing and managing site/remedial investigation activities and performing hydrogeologic interpretation and development of conceptual site models.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Advanced data evaluation and analytical skills.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Experience interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.
Ability and willingness to support the technical growth of project/staff level professionals based on direct hands-on interactions.
Essential Duties
Project Management:
Manage projects including scheduling and coordination of project resources to meet client and organizational needs.
Ensure that task schedules, budgets, and client invoicing are performed in accordance with company standards and client requirements to complete project work.
Technical Data Review and Report Preparation:
Coordinate and provide quality control for data collection and review of project results, including evaluation of field data to determine future client needs and project requirements.
Interpret data, develop, and finalize a report for Project Principal's review that documents findings and remediation recommendations.
Proposal Preparation and Business Development:
Assist with the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, and with marketing activities.
Staff Mentoring and Training:
Participate in the development of junior staff and work with senior management to grow as a consultant and firm leader.
Physical Demands / Work Environment This position occasionally works in the field and predominantly in an office environment. In the field, you will lead a larger team at exterior project sites (industrial/brownfield facilities, monitoring wells, treatment systems, construction projects) for sample collection, recording of operational parameters, and oversight of subcontractors. Field activities require driving to project sites and moving around outdoors in various terrains, occasionally in adverse weather. Office work is stationary and computer-based.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000. This range reflects Roux’s good faith belief of potential pay at posting time for this location. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education/training, certifications, skill sets, and internal equity. This position is eligible for performance bonuses based on individual performance and firm profitability.
