The Quality Assurance Director is primarily focused on overseeing and managing the Quality Assurance department within the assigned region. This position is responsible for ensuring periodic audits of all service delivery settings within RHA Health Services are conducted, ensuring ongoing compliance with training requirements, supporting the service delivery systems, and providing oversight to the program’s Quality Assurance Performance Improvement committees for the regions they oversee. The Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for the supervision of the Quality Assurance Specialists within their regions. The Quality Assurance Director is responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance with company, state, and federal policy.**REPORTS TO:**

Vice President of Learning and Quality**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:**This position supervises Quality Assurance Specialists**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Monitors the implementation of quality assurance and performance improvement activities within assigned region.* Supports the development, implementation, review, and revision of RHA's Quality Management Policy and Procedure Manual and state specific service-related policies within their region.* Supports the management of the QAPI process at the corporate level. Report trended data on benchmarks being monitored and provide recommendations to improve quality throughout service array based on trended findings.* Oversees, supports, and participates in the design and implementation of QAPI process at the local level.* Works with the Learning Department in supporting the development of training curricula. Develops and implements protocol for continuous staff training designed to achieve all requirements of the services being delivered.* Provides employees with professional development opportunities through in-house training and training offered through community resources.* Establishes an annual audit plan and ensures the completion of periodic audits of all service delivery settings to ensure compliance with all service record management, staff qualifications, best practices, and all other state and federal requirements for the services being delivered.* Coordinates the distribution of the stakeholder and customer satisfaction surveys and provides written reports annually.* Ensures the use of the Personal Outcome Measures as defined by The Council on Quality and Leadership.* Ensures compliance with all Accreditation requirements and supports the accreditation process across the organization.* Supports the Chief Compliance Officer and completes special projects as directed by the Chief Compliance Officer.* Must be able to travel to various company locations, stay overnight if required, and work the hours necessary to complete audits and other duties.* Performs all other duties as assigned.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*** Education- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) in an appropriate Human Services field from an accredited four-year college or university.* Experience- At least five years’ experience working with persons with behavioral health needs* Previous supervisory experience* Prior experience with auditing service records and employee files, reporting outcomes, and quality management systems is preferred.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:*** Regularly required to lift 10 lbs.* Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs.* Must be able to pull a minimum of 10 lbs.* Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.* Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.* Required to regularly stand and walk.* Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.* Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.* Must be able to talk and hear.* This position requires routine travelRHA is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer, prohibits discrimination based on the following protected categories: race, creed, color, national origin, nationality, ancestry, age, sex/gender, marital status, civil status, domestic partnership status, familial status, religion, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, atypical hereditary cellular or blood trait, genetic information, liability for service in the Armed Forces of the United States, or disability.**Pre-employment screening:*** Complete criminal background* Name checked in the registries.
