Senior Accountant

to their team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and mentoring the AP Coordinator. What you will do

Mentor A/P Coordinator Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash management and reporting. Conduct General Ledger analysis and prepare adjusting journal entries as required. Assist in developing and refining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and grant requirements. Review partner invoices for accuracy and ensure appropriate supporting documentation is provided. Support the Director of Finance in the following areas:

Month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial results. Preparation of financial statements and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Development of annual budgets and periodic forecasting. Facilitation of audit and tax return preparation, ensuring readiness and compliance.

What you need

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university, required. 3 – 5 years of accounting experience; experience with non-profit entities is highly preferred. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Comp to 87,500 plus a great healthcare and PTO policies
