Java Full Stack Lead Consultant
with proven requirement gathering skills and experience in preparing technical requirement documents based on information gathered in technical workshops. This role involves contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle, including business process consulting, problem definition, proposing and creating solutions, development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution, guiding teams on project processes and deliverables, and contributing to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building. This position shapes value-adding consulting solutions to help clients meet evolving global needs. Responsibilities
The candidate will: Lead and manage end-to-end technical deliverables of 4 to 5 cross-functional POD teams. Provide technical oversight across multiple POD teams, ensuring consistency in technical standards and leveraging senior team members to achieve project outcomes. articulate solution approaches to business & IT stakeholders at various levels from concept through build, deployment, and support phases. Work closely with client stakeholders including engineering leads, product teams, and solution architects. Design scalable, maintainable, secure software solutions aligned with business needs. Review and integrate all application requirements (functional, security, integration, performance, quality, operations). Apply and develop technical and methodological standards and policies. Engage in a global delivery environment and cloud-based development platforms with end-to-end integration. Apply familiarity with agile development processes and methodologies. Required Skills
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of NYC, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. Position requires 4 days a week in-person work from a client office in NY. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; in lieu of every year of education, three years of progressive experience in the specialty will be considered. At least 8 years of Information Technology experience. Good understanding of the Financial Services domain. Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. Preferred Skills
Experience leading and managing end-to-end technical deliverables for 4 to 5 cross-functional POD teams. Strong proficiency in Fullstack engineering: Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, Microservices, testing frameworks (Jasmine/Karma), CI/CD pipelines, MongoDB, SQL, and Azure cloud. Ability to provide technical oversight across multiple POD teams, ensuring consistency in technical standards and leveraging senior team members. Ability to articulate solution approaches to business and IT stakeholders at varying levels from concept to deployment and support. Collaborate with client stakeholders including engineering leads, product teams, and solution architects. Think strategically about software systems, designing scalable, maintainable, secure solutions aligned with business needs. Finance domain knowledge (trading, investing, clearing, reporting, servicing, wealth data) is a must. Review and integrate all application requirements (functional, security, integration, performance, quality, operations). Apply standards and policies for technical and methodological aspects. Experience working in a Global delivery environment. Experience in cloud-based development platforms and end-to-end integration. Familiarity with agile development processes and methodologies. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Travel may be required as per job requirements. Benefits
