As the Advisory Leader for Manufacturing, you will be responsible for growing the Manufacturing industry advisory practice and enabling strategic growth across Genpact. This role reports into the Global Advisory Leader and is part of the Manufacturing advisory leadership team. This is a highly senior role requiring deep industry expertise, a forward-thinking mindset, experience in finance and supply chain sectors, and a deep understanding of advanced technology solutions. The actual offer will reflect the total compensation package plus benefits and will be determined by factors including experience, knowledge, skills and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity. Strategic Leadership and Vision

Define and lead the global strategy for the manufacturing advisory practice, ensuring alignment with Genpact strategy and the Industry Unit Leader. Lead the development of scalable, industry-relevant service offerings; drive innovation to meet client and market demands. Shape long-term business strategies by focusing on market trends, emerging technologies, and client needs to ensure competitiveness and growth. Develop an end-to-end value chain view for the industry to articulate Genpact’s value to clients.

Business Growth and Expansion

Drive business development by identifying new markets, services, and clients to grow the advisory business. Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, track leads, and convert opportunities into engagements; deliver bookings and revenue growth. Collaborate with regional and global sales leadership to expand offerings and enter new markets; identify opportunities to expand Genpact services across client engagements. Develop go-to-market strategies and execute plans to grow Genpact’s presence across industries and geographies.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management

Build and nurture trusted advisory relationships with C-suite and senior leaders in key client organizations. Establish strong relationships to understand client priorities and business state; provide strategic recommendations for success. Act as primary contact for high-value global clients, ensuring delivery excellence and satisfaction. Provide strategic counsel on business transformation using domain and technology expertise and emerging trends.

Thought Leadership and Industry Influence

Serve as an industry thought leader at global forums, conferences, and industry events. Publish insights and lead discussions on AI, technology, data strategy, and digital transformation. Foster a culture of innovation and forward-thinking solutions to position Genpact as a leader in advisory services. Keep teams and services informed of relevant industry trends and opportunities to add client value and accelerate growth.

Operational Excellence and Project Oversight

Oversee delivery of large-scale, complex advisory projects with a practitioner mindset, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met. Drive common methodologies and frameworks, maintain high delivery standards, and optimize resource utilization to improve margins.

Cross-functional and Global Collaboration

Work with global teams across finance, supply chain, technology, and other units to deliver integrated client solutions. Promote cross-border collaboration and leverage global talent to solve multinational client problems. Ensure seamless integration of services, balancing advisory with technology, data, and industry expertise. Collaborate with senior executives to influence global decision-making and shape overall company strategy.

Team Leadership and Talent Development

Build and lead a team of advisors to expand Genpact’s services in the Manufacturing segment. Oversee full lifecycle of team members, including hiring, onboarding, performance, and exits; mentor and develop staff. Collaborate with leadership and HR on sensitive employee issues; foster relationships and ensure effective onboarding.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree/MBA in business, finance, supply chain, accounting, analytics, engineering, technology, GenAI, or data management; MBA preferred. Extensive leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing organization, driving transformational change. Deep expertise in supply chain, sales and order management, procurement, lean manufacturing, and/or logistics. Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and enterprise technology systems. Proven ability to guide high-level strategy across global, complex environments; strong leadership and strategic thinking. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with C-suite influence; creative problem solving and ability to deliver technology solutions. Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and geographies; proven experience managing global cross-functional teams. Demonstrated success growing a business unit or practice through innovation and client relationships. Experience influencing C-level customers and internal stakeholders; strong presentation skills. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build relationships easily.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills
