About The Company: My client is an award-winning aircraft charter company providing private jet, commercial airliner, and cargo aircraft charters around the world for over 30 years and consist of companies dedicated to humanitarian relief, dangerous goods, animal transportation, pharmaceuticals, freight forwarding and much more.

Job Summary: They are looking for a broker for their Cargo Jet sales team. This is an inside sales position – in this role you would be responsible for the full sales cycle, driving revenue, establishing a portfolio of clients, and cultivating client relationships. This is an onsite position at our client’s location in downtown Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

Building your list of potential customers by researching our database, websites, LinkedIn and trade press etc. Proactively targeting your list through outbound sales calls, emails and visits (both face-to-face and virtual) and converting them from potential customers to our client’s customers

Building relationships with Cargo Operators to ensure access to the widest range of aircraft available to provide solutions for our customers

Maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business

Working to sales target meeting financial objectives

Ability to demonstrate expert understanding of the aircraft and chartering process

Manage charter bookings from inquiry to completion

Receiving inbound requests for urgent charters virtually 24/7

Present bespoke quotes to customers, demonstrating good commercial acumen

Flight watching/overseeing flight departures (this might be unsociable hours)

Qualifications

6 Months-3 years of inside sales experience

Bachelors Degree preferred but not required

Experience being held accountable to sales quotas & metrics

If a candidate has some logistics or transportation, supply chain or aviation experience, it's a plus

Training & Travel Award-winning professional training and one-on-one mentoring. Opportunities for international and domestic travel or relocation. Training based in our London HQ for 4 weeks. Training and travel expenses are covered by the company.
