Innovation Technology By Design . The Director of Sales is a pivotal role responsible for the revenue generation teams, including Business Development and Customer Experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and building a revenue-generation team and achieving revenue and sales targets. The ideal candidate has experience in building growth strategies in companies, with specific MSP experience. The mission of the Director of Sales is to develop a world-class Revenue Generation team that aligns with the marketing and delivery teams and optimizes the sales and customer success functions to drive revenue and growth. Responsibilities
Develop growth strategies with the executive team Oversee all revenue generating activities – direct sales, partner sales, performance marketing, and customer success Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure demand generation activities deliver the right leads Establish both short-term results and long-term strategies, including revenue forecasting Prospect and close relationships with key target clients Drive operational excellence at every stage of the sales funnel/cycle Be accountable for results, focusing on both long- and short-term strategies; take responsibility for accurate forecasting and meeting/exceeding agreed upon sales and revenue targets Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth Propel sales leadership to develop and implement revenue driving strategies, which create long-term customer and business value Monitor the strategies and processes across the revenue cycle from customer acquisition to engagement to success Develop and implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals Oversee all Channel/Partner development Work openly and intensely with the rest of the delivery and support teams to ensure the overall success of the business Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field Experience in the IT MSP (Managed Service Provider) industry 10+ years of successful sales leadership experience with a strong background in managing sales teams, and achieving revenue targets Experience in developing and executing growth strategies in collaboration with executive leadership, and product heads/stakeholders Expert understanding of the sales funnel, including pipeline management, forecasting, and closing sales Experience managing direct sales, partner sales, and performance marketing Mastery of negotiations and understanding of contractual terms Experience with sales and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) Experience in global market expansion, including entering new regions or international sales operations Strong collaboration skills to work with marketing, delivery, and support teams to align sales strategies with broader business objectives Experience with strategic revenue forecasting, including short- and long-term revenue planning
