Thread Bank provides a unique opportunity to be a part of a high growth, cutting edge, fintech startup within the stable and profitable banking industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career as the company grows.

What you\'ll do As Director of Capital Markets & Lending Solutions, you will lead the strategic expansion of Thread Bank’s lending infrastructure beyond the traditional originate-to-sell model. You’ll architect and execute a differentiated Lending-as-a-Service (LaaS) and Lender of Record (LoR) program that empowers Thread to hold select assets, offer warehouse lending, and structure off-balance-sheet solutions including forward flow and ABS facilities.

Design and launch Thread’s LoR and LaaS platform, enabling embedded lending partners to originate loans under Thread’s charter while leveraging flexible capital markets execution strategies.

Build and manage warehouse lending programs, including both on-balance-sheet and off-balance-sheet structures, tailored to partner needs and investor appetite.

Structure and negotiate forward flow agreements and ABS transactions, ensuring optimal pricing, credit enhancement, and scalability.

Develop and implement balance sheet optimization strategies, aligning capital deployment with risk-adjusted return targets and regulatory requirements.

Lead investor engagement and syndication efforts, cultivating relationships with banks, asset managers, insurance companies, and private credit funds to support Thread’s capital markets initiatives.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Credit, Risk, Operations, Product and Legal to ensure new programs meet policy standards and are operationally sound.

Drive product innovation across BaaS, LaaS, and PaaS, positioning Thread as a full-stack financial infrastructure provider capable of delivering deeply integrated and differentiated solutions to our partners.

Build and scale a high-performing team, aligned with Thread’s growth ambitions and budgetary framework.
