BooksTime is looking for an experienced accountant to join us as a Senior Accountant. You’ll oversee bookkeeping services for a set of clients. Responsibilities

Set up services for new clients: talk with them, understand their needs, and coordinate a team of international bookkeepers to get services up and running. Your role is to be a high-level accounting resource to the bookkeepers, help manage communication with the client (including managing their expectations), and generally build a trusted advisor relationship with the client. Supervise ongoing services: after the setup is done, you’ll supervise and support the bookkeepers as needed for the same clients. As a growing, evolving company, there will also be opportunities to take on different or more specialized roles. For example, there could be versions of this role that involve: Only new service setup or only ongoing supervision; Industry-specific specialization; Controller and/or CFO services; Management; Requirements / Who We\'re Looking For

Experienced. Our ideal candidate has handled the accounting for multiple companies (in-house or at an accounting/bookkeeping firm). Titles such as Controller, Finance Manager, Full Charge Bookkeeper, Director of Accounting, VP of Finance, CFO, Senior Accountant, etc. Management experience is valuable but not required. Candidates should have hands-on experience working directly in QuickBooks. Ideally, you have worked with several clients simultaneously. Knowledgeable. Most people in this role have degrees in accounting (or similar) though this isn\'t strictly required. A CPA and/or ProAdvisor would be a plus, but not required. Highly organized. This role requires juggling multiple clients and coordinating a diverse team of bookkeepers with strong time management skills. Great at building strong relationships. Establishing a personal rapport with clients and acting as a trusted advisor is key. Great communicator. You should have excellent professional communication skills and be fluent in English (written and spoken). Tech-savvy. Proficient with computers and new systems/tools. Excel expertise is preferred. QuickBooks Online or Desktop is required. Experience with other accounting software (e.g., Xero or NetSuite) is helpful but not required. An adaptable, fast learner. You should be comfortable diving into new clients and problems and prefer creative problem solving over strictly following established processes. Benefits
