Oversee AWS infrastructure design, development, and operations using automation, infrastructure-as-code, and best practices. Champion privacy and security by design, embedding best practices and ensuring compliance with enterprise and industry standards. Ensure proactive monitoring, observability, and alerting using CloudWatch, Datadog, and related tools. Drive cost optimization initiatives and implement chargeback models for brand-aligned engineering effort. Promote high standards of engineering quality, including code reviews, automated testing practices, and documentation. Oversee adoption and operation of DevOps pipelines using GitHub Actions, Puppet, and related tooling. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and enterprise technology teams to ensure business goals are achieved. Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience managing engineering teams in a cloud-first environment. Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Deep knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Puppet). Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and migration from EC2 to containerized workloads. Familiarity with Drupal frameworks and CDN management (Akamai, Cloudflare). Experience with observability and security tooling (CloudWatch, Datadog, Wiz, Snyk). Ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
