The Life Practice Actuary, FSA is responsible for a wide variety of assignments in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, asset liability management, cash flow testing, valuation, financial reporting, and financial modeling. This role is entrusted to lead NAIC work for the Chicago and Bermuda Life practice teams. In addition, this role is responsible for actuarial due diligence for M&A transactions, including review of financial metrics, assumptions, risks and operations of the business. Community Highlights
The Life Practice Actuary, FSA is based in Chicago with flexibility for a hybrid model with 2 days per week onsite. As a large city with surrounding suburbs, Chicago offers a multitude of housing options to suit every lifestyle and a variety of transportation resources for traveling and sightseeing. Chicago is rich in culture, arts, and entertainment. 2+ years of experience as a Qualified Appointed Actuary Proficiency with insurance product modeling, and MG-ALFA and Integrate experience Working knowledge of Excel, VBA and SAS FSA and MAAA designations required Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or similar Seniority level
