Responsibilities
Performs technical, mainly pre-defined tasks for accomplishing defined service delivery work for customer equipment.
Service Area – San Francisco, CA. Customer Service Engineer Level based on prior experience.
Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
Deliver timely and effective repairs as well as training of operators to ensure optimal system performance and superior customer satisfaction.
Manage financial performance within their territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management.
Ensure tool and test equipment expiration dates are managed; no overdue calibration test equipment is used or maintained in the field; usage documented on eFSR.
Manage company assets to include a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
Provide mentoring to other CSEs on all competencies and responsibilities.
Qualifications / Required skills
Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
Proficient with tools and service test equipment; ability to work individually and in a team.
Proficiency in network applications and tools (including eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website—Engineer Tools).
Ability to read and understand install, set-up, repair, troubleshooting documents, schematics and diagrams.
5-7 years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record; ability to drive independently day and night.
Physical requirements: lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, climbing, bending, etc.
Additional expectations
Demonstrate excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources.
Strong competency in instrument systems technology across mechanics, electrical, chemistry, software; experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Compensation and benefits The annual base pay range for this position is
$82,000
to
$123,000
with factors such as geography, skills, education, and experience influencing starting pay. If applicable, commissions are based on individual and/or company performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life and disability insurance, paid time off, and other eligibility-based offerings.
