Intermediary Sales Consultant (B/D & DCIO) - San Francisco
The Intermediary Sales Consultant is a sales and relationship partner with external sales professionals who aid in the development of each territory and management of relationships and sales opportunities with Financial Advisors as the target audience. You will prospect, sell, and retain advisors within your assigned territory through a consultative process and contribute to gross sales, net new flows (where applicable), redemption rates, and activity targets, with shared accountability for territory goals with external counterparts. Relationship Management - Work with assigned external sales partners to optimize client coverage, deepen relationships with T. Rowe Price, and drive sales among financial advisors within the territory. Business Development - Identify and develop new business with the territory partner, independently selling to prospects and deepening relationships with existing advisors. A service associate role may support non-client engagement activities. Territory Management - Use internal and third-party data to identify, prioritize targets, document sales measurements, and guide territory progress with territory plans. Sales Support and Follow-up - Prepare and follow up on activities to ensure advisors are prepared for meetings, including post-meeting follow-ups, outbound communications, and coordination with the Service team. Travel/Client Facing Engagements - Attend periodic conferences and conduct regular territory travel with the external partner to win leads. CRM - Maintain accurate CRM data (Salesforce) and provide insights to improve processes and client experience. Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 5+ years of total relevant work experience FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required; licenses may be obtained within the first 3 months of hire if not currently held Preferred
MBA, CFA, CFP, CIMA Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry Intermediary sales experience and strong product knowledge Strong consultative, client service, and relationship-building skills Effective communication and presentation abilities Ability to adapt in a collaborative, evolving environment Proven results with a consultative sales process High attention to detail and thorough documentation FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role. Work Flexibility

Placement within the range depends on relevant experience and skills. Base salary is one component of total compensation; discretionary bonuses may apply.
