on site , willing to relocate to East Coast. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership & Analysis: Partner with the Plant General Manager and senior leadership to provide data-driven financial analysis and decision support for operational and strategic initiatives. Develop and manage the plant's annual operating budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic financial plans. Lead the creation of complex financial models to evaluate capital investments, scenario planning, and business cases. Operational Cost Management & Accounting: Oversee all cost accounting functions, including establishing standard costs, analyzing production variances (material, labor, overhead), and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement. Ensure a timely, accurate, and efficient month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process in strict compliance with US GAAP. Manage and forecast cash flow, working capital (inventory, AP/AR), and capital expenditure (CapEx) approvals. Controls, Compliance & Team Development: Develop, implement, and maintain a robust internal control environment; ensure readiness for internal and external audits (SOX experience preferred). Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions. Qualifications & Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, including years in a senior leadership role Previous experience within a manufacturing environment. Expert-level knowledge of US GAAP, cost accounting principles (standard costing, variance analysis), and financial modeling. Proven hands-on experience with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion). Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, influence senior stakeholders, and communicate complex financial information clearly. Seniority level
