Overview
We are seeking a
Senior Manufacturing Accountant
to take ownership of plant-level financial reporting, cost accounting, and inventory analytics, while partnering directly with operations leadership. This is an onsite role with meaningful visibility across the business. Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and ensure accurate month-end and year-end close Lead
cost accounting
including BOM, WIP, standard costing, overhead application, and variance analysis Oversee inventory control and valuation: cycle counts, throughput, and usage reporting Assist in building budgets and forecasts; analyze results and provide insights on performance drivers Support audits and strengthen internal controls across the division Improve processes and reporting efficiency using ERP systems and Excel Partner with production, engineering, and other functions to connect operations with financial results Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 4 years in
manufacturing accounting Depth in
cost accounting : inventory, BOM, WIP, and variance analysis Strong knowledge of GAAP and close process discipline ERP system experience Advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, modeling) Excellent communication and ability to partner with non-finance leaders Self-starter who takes ownership and drives process improvements Exposure to private equity-backed manufacturing environments
