Overview
Colgate-Palmolive Company is a global consumer products company operating in over 200 countries, specializing in Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Skin Care, and Pet Nutrition. We are looking for a talented Solution Architect focused on Master Data to join our Global IT Data Platforms team. As a key member within our Master Data Management (MDM) group, you will design, develop, and operationalize high-quality, scalable master data solutions that deliver trusted, analytics-ready data to fuel Colgate’s analytics, digital transformation, and business growth initiatives. This position is based in Piscataway, NJ. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
What youll do
Lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of a data registry solution to catalog and govern enterprise data assets.
Integrate the data registry with Snowflake, SAP, and other internal/external sources for seamless data flow and interoperability.
Develop and optimize scalable, analytics-ready data assets and data models on Snowflake using best practices in data modeling and ETL/ELT pipelines.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with company standards across all stages of the data lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support solution delivery, troubleshoot data issues, and continuously enhance enterprise data and analytics capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years’ experience in data engineering or data architecture roles.
Expertise in Snowflake and DBT for data warehousing, modeling, and analytics pipeline development.
Proficient in Python, SQL, and building scalable analytics datasets and ETL/ELT pipelines with large, complex data sources.
Proven track record implementing data registry solutions and integrating data across on-premise and cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, modern data architectures, ETL/ELT practices, data governance, metadata management, data lineage, API management, and experience with version control/CI-CD tools (e.g., GitHub, GitHub Actions).
Preferred Qualifications
Deep experience implementing enterprise-grade data registry or master data management solutions.
Experience with SAP ERP environments, including familiarity with SAP Master Data Governance and understanding of SAP data structures and integration methods.
Advanced expertise integrating data from multiple SAP modules, cloud and on-premise platforms.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Compensation And Benefits Salary Range $106,400.00 - $150,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions (subject to eligibility). Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays.
