Responsibilities
Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation Assist in property tax bill payment and return preparation using PTMS Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies
Qualifications
Minimum eight years of recent experience in personal property tax compliance preparing property tax returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Licensed CPA, EA, JD/LLM, CMI or MTX, in addition to others on KPMG\'s approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials Ability to develop business and foster client relationships Experience with various other taxes and their impact on property tax Strong knowledge of the development, planning, and execution related to property tax
