Strategic Partner Development Manager, Market Entry — Waymo. Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the world's most trusted driver. Since its start as the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has focused on building the Waymo Driver—the World's Most Experienced Driver—to improve access to mobility while saving thousands of lives now lost to traffic crashes. The Waymo Driver powers Waymo’s fully autonomous ride-hail service and can also be applied to a range of vehicle platforms and product use cases. The Waymo Driver has provided over ten million rider-only trips, enabled by its experience autonomously driving over 100 million miles on public roads and tens of billions in simulation across 15+ U.S. states. The Business Development and Partnerships team helps plan Waymo's dynamic future and drive the company's go-to-market strategy. We work cross-functionally and leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis to build forward-looking partnerships that deliver on Waymo's strategic business objectives. Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, Operations Responsibilities
Leverage existing infrastructure and maintenance partners and identify new partners to support new market entry Identify, negotiate, execute, and manage strategic parking partners to enable fleet expansion in new and existing markets Identify, create, negotiate and implement effective partner agreements that drive results across the Waymo partnerships ecosystem Develop and execute on an overall strategic partnerships plan to accelerate Waymo’s market entry into new markets Identify, negotiate, execute, and manage strategic partners in new and existing markets to enable charging capacity at no power sites Qualifications
5+ years of experience in partner management, partner development, or account management Experience working with executive stakeholders at mobility and/or charging companies Experience leading partnership programs Experience working cross-functionally within an organization and driving decision-making Compensation and Benefits
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is $175,000—$221,000 USD. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
