The clinical nurse provides patient care to an assigned group of patients, focusing on meeting the clinical needs of the clinic. Incumbent will perform patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. Assists with procedures and patient education. The nurse incorporates psycho-motor and age-appropriate cognitive skills of the patient/family/significant other using knowledge of patient assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. What It Takes to Be Successful
Required Qualifications: Current California RN license Minimum of 6 months demonstrated nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory care setting Current ACLS certification Current BLS certification Demonstrated knowledge and practice of infection control techniques Knowledge and practice of body mechanics Knowledge and practice of age related acuity levels 2 years current Interventional GI experience Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Compensation and Benefits
