Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is partnering with leading Gastroenterology private practice in Lufkin to provide outstanding care to the patients we serve in the beautiful town of Lufkin. Lufkin is a lively, growing, & energetic community with many amenities. We are looking for a dedicated physician to join a successful private practice group with over 25 years of experience in the community, providing ample opportunity for professional growth. Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is a collaboration between St. Luke's Health System & Baylor College of Medicine. Our opportunity boasts the wide variety of benefits and supportive resources expected as part of a large health system multispecialty group while also being recognized for individual contributions. Pay Range $230.77 - $350.96 /hour Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex gastrointestinal conditions, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions. Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and EMR. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care, contributing to innovative treatment plans and ongoing clinical trials. Participate in education and mentorship of medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals. Opportunity to engage in and contribute to the development of research initiatives in gastroenterology. Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records. Contribute to the growth and development of the gastroenterology division within Baylor St. Luke's Health. Flexible and willing to support organizational needs with regard to healthcare and market changes. Establish clinical expertise with a commitment to patient care outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to serve as a team member and clinical leader in the workplace. Oriented toward customer service and patient-centered care.
