Saint Agnes Medical Providers (SAMP) has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Fellowship Trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join the staff of Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, California. This is a full-time employment opportunity to be part of our vibrant multispecialty group practice. We are seeking a team-oriented Cardiothoracic Surgeon with a passion for both cardiac and general thoracic surgery, demonstrated expertise in CABG, valve replacement/repair, thoracic surgery, and proficiency in minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS). At least 5 years of cardiothoracic experience is required. Responsibilities and schedule
The work schedule is primarily weekdays. Call coverage is approximately 1:3 and shared equitably with other eligible CT surgeons in the practice. The primary location is the Saint Agnes Medical Center campus in Fresno, with outreach to other regional communities as needed to build relationships. This physician-led multispecialty group is recruiting to join the integrated CT Surgery team and program. The program participates in the STS Registry and benchmarks performance as part of an ongoing quality and outcomes improvement program, including a high rate of early extubation and a low transfusion rate, with regional and national cardiac surgery awards. Qualifications
Interested candidates must possess a valid State of California Physician License or have the ability to obtain a license prior to start date and must be eligible to be fully credentialed as a member of the medical staff at SAMC. Compensation and benefits
