Overview
Elliot Hospital is currently seeking a fellowship trained Breast Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary care NAPBC accredited breast center, which includes breast and plastic surgeons, breast radiologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and advanced care providers. Our comprehensive cancer center is located at the main hospital (10 minutes from the breast center). Schedule is Monday-Friday, with an average of 2 days in the OR, 2 days in clinic, a shared call schedule and 1 administrative day. Diagnostic radiology and MRI are onsite with three fellowship-trained breast radiologists, state-of-the-art technology, 3D mammography, breast sonography and breast biopsy. The Elliot Breast Health Center offers access to oncology genetics and high-risk assessment with some in-office coverage at the Breast Center for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. The Elliot Breast Health Center is a leading destination for breast health in Southern New Hampshire. It is recognized as a Breast Center of Excellence by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Health Centers and as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. We provide individualized care to women in the community. Location context: Nestled along the Merrimack River in Manchester, NH, this area is within an hour’s drive of Boston, the seacoast, lakes region, and White Mountains. Join a multidisciplinary NAPBC-accredited breast center with support from nursing, surgical, radiology, oncology and social work staff. Provide clinical and surgical care for breast disease, with approximately 2 days in the operating room and 2 days in clinic weekly. Collaborate with a team of breast radiologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and allied health professionals. Utilize onsite diagnostic radiology, MRI, 3D mammography, breast sonography and breast biopsy capabilities. Engage with the Oncology Genetics and High-Risk Assessment program for newly diagnosed patients. Qualifications
