Overview
The Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplant at Riley Children\'s Health, affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine, and a member of the Children\'s Oncology Group Phase 1/BMT-CTN, is interviewing applicants for a clinical research position at the Assistant or Associate professor level. The successful candidate should be clinically trained in pediatric hematology/oncology/stem cell transplant with a focus on Hematology. Duties will include inpatient consultation, outpatient consultation, outpatient clinics, and inpatient service. We invite qualified candidates to share our vision to provide compassionate, equitable, family centered care for patients with cancer and blood disorders through a focus on cutting edge research, exceptional quality, and the education of current and future leaders. Our Hematology Program is nationally recognized for excellence and comprehensive services. Highlights that set our program apart include NICER consortium membership, Indiana\'s only Lifespan Sickle Disease Cell Center of Excellence, NIH-funded telemedicine services for pediatric sickle cell patients, a comprehensive Hemostasis and Thrombosis Program, a Bone Marrow Failure Program, a multi-disciplinary Rheumatology, Immunology, Hematology, ICID clinic, a large clinical-grade viral vector lab for gene therapy research, exclusive pediatric CAR-T cell therapy in Indiana, access to Indiana\'s only pediatric stem-cell transplant center, and ongoing research in sickle cell disease, gene therapy, and novel blood disorder therapies. The program emphasizes professional development, collegiality, and interdepartmental teamwork and offers a faculty appointment with IUSM and medical education opportunities for students, residents, and fellows. Comprehensive benefits through IUSM include group insurance, retirement options, vacation/CME/holidays, relocation assistance, and occurrence-based malpractice insurance from day one. Outpatient consultation, clinics, and ongoing patient management in the hematology/oncology/stem cell transplant programs.
