What You’ll Do — Your Role as GM: Leadership & Team Development Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing staff Foster a strong, positive culture where employees feel valued, motivated, and empowered Conduct regular coaching, performance evaluations, and team development sessions Operations & Guest Experience Own the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and outstanding guest experiences Lead by example during peak hours, jumping on the line, talking to guests, and ensuring your team feels supported Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and service excellence Be the face of the brand — connecting with regulars, welcoming new guests, and creating a community vibe Financial & Strategic Management Analyze weekly/monthly P&Ls to manage labor costs, food costs, and operational expenses Set and track KPIs (sales, labor, COGS, etc.) with a results-oriented mindset Execute marketing plans, local promotions, and seasonal initiatives to drive traffic and revenue Create staffing plans and shift schedules that maximize performance and profitability Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and labor regulations Keep the team educated on food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety best practices Community Engagement Be an ambassador for Himes in the local community — attend events, support local causes, and build partnerships Turn your store into a neighborhood hub where guests feel like family Experience: 2–5 years of restaurant management experience (preferably in fast-casual or full-service dining) Proven success in leading teams, growing sales, and driving operational excellence Experience managing labor and food costs with strong P&L responsibility Comfortable working in a high-volume, guest-focused environment Skills: Natural leader and coach — able to inspire, develop, and hold a team accountable Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills Highly organized, dependable, and proactive Hands-on and energetic — you're as comfortable behind the line as you are in the office Values: Passion for hospitality and people-first leadership Entrepreneurial mindset — eager to grow something from the inside out Hungry to advance your career and eventually run your own store as an Operating Partner or Franchise Owner Bonus based on performance Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Vision insurance Schedule: Tuesday–Sunday, 7 AM – 2 PM (NO nights.
