Cvent’s Research and Development division is currently looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Development Frameworks Group.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of TypeScript, Java, GraphQL, Next.js, React, and Infrastructure as Code.
You should be a self-starter capable of taking ambiguous requirements and coming up with a viable solution. You should also be able to design scalable, high-performance solutions that empower our product development teams to create world-class products. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to design, build, maintain and support our core development frameworks. In This Role, You Will: Contribute directly to the evolution of framework features and capabilities that achieve improvement in resilience, scalability, security and product developer velocity. Showcase strong architecture and design instincts in order to collaborate with technical leadership and other cross functional teams to develop and execute on roadmap. Support consuming teams as they adopt, upgrade and utilize the development framework to create solutions. Proactively stays ahead of emerging technologies and trends to anticipate future challenges and opportunities. Consistently look for ways to remove friction to ensuring a desirable experience for our customers – the developer Here\'s What You Need: Bachelors+ in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience in React and Next.js Highly proficient in at least one object-oriented language: Java is a plus Proficient in CI/CD concepts, knowing how to configure and manage pipelines to ensure that software updates are deployed quickly, safely and efficiently. Some experience with AWS services including Cloudfront, ECS, S3, DynamoDB and others Strong passion for Software development, and taking pride in your craft Experience building framework libraries is a plus Staying current with AI advancements through self-driven learning is preferred Seniority level
