Overview
Do you love decomposing problems to develop products that impact millions of people around the world? Would you enjoy identifying, defining, and building software solutions that revolutionize how businesses operate? This position supports the Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Security Systems Engineering (AS2E) team, which provides operational support for security services in US ADC Regions. The team focuses on improving operational health and reducing manual toil, delivering on high‑impact, high‑visibility projects, with opportunities to join across AWS on challenging business problems. This role requires maintaining an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and opting into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which AWS work is performed. Responsibilities
Automate repetitive tasks and influence partner teams to optimize processes. Provide technical decision making and independently resolve complex problems. Contribute to high‑impact, high‑visibility projects within the AS2E organization and ADC regions. Collaborate across AWS to advance career development and solve challenging business problems. Basic Qualifications
A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+ 1+ years of systems administration experience (Linux/Windows) Experience with scripting languages In lieu of above, degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred Qualifications
1+ years experience with cloud computing technologies 1+ years of networking experience 1+ years of experience with support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments Experience troubleshooting and automating routine tasks Experience with performance and log analysis About AWS
