for a respected non-profit in

Springfield, OR . This is a rare opportunity to join the

Executive Leadership Team , oversee

multi-site medical operations , and guide organizational strategy while maintaining a lighter direct clinical caseload. The organization provides evidence-based inpatient and outpatient treatment for adults with substance use disorders, with care grounded in dignity, compassion, and long-term recovery. Position : Medical Director, Addiction Medicine (MD, ABPM-Certified) Location : Springfield, OR 97477 Employer : HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) Employment type : Full-time, Exempt, W-2 Responsibilities

Lead medical operations across detox, residential, and outpatient MAT programs Supervise LMPs, resident physicians, and nursing staff Serve as a member of the Executive Team, contributing to strategy and program growth Partner with Director of Medical Operations on quarterly goals and outcomes Participate in hiring, onboarding, and supervision of clinical providers Chair Pharmacy & Therapeutics and Credentialing Committees Lead the Healthcare Professionals Program and coordinate with regulatory bodies Deliver monthly medical lectures and quarterly staff trainings Oversee and refine detox protocols for alcohol, opioids, benzos, cannabis, etc. Support medical education programs for students and residents Maintain compliance with licensure, board certification, DEA registration, and CME Requirements

MD or DO with Board Certification in Addiction Medicine Board Certification in Addiction Medicine (ABPM or AOCCAM/CAQ required) Active Oregon Medical License (or eligibility to obtain) 5+ years clinical experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Addiction Medicine Experience overseeing detox and addiction treatment across levels of care Proven leadership in healthcare or behavioral health settings Strong communication and strategic decision-making skills Prior executive-level behavioral health experience preferred Compensation
