Hospitalist

to join our growing team at Fisher's Hospital in the desirable and growing Indianapolis suburb. Position Details

Robust community hospital with a variety of acuity levels, opportunity for teaching, and a great living community and schools Full-time, Days (7 on/7 off, 10 hours in-house); 44 beds growing to 88 beds with a new tower opening in October 2025. Combined ICU/PCU unit currently 12 beds. 100% inpatient coverage for medical and surgical patients; hospitalist team consists of 8 physicians and 5 APPs for a culture of teamwork, support, and collaboration Intensivist support onsite M-F daytime hours, 24/7 on-call. Open ICU; hospitalists admit all ICU patients including intubated patients and those on pressors (with the exception of STEMI) and run code teams. Procedures are not required but optional if comfortable/competent. Qualifications

Residency training in Internal Medicine Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine Minimum of one year experience preferred Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana Community Description

IU Health Fishers Hospital

is a 44-bed hospital located in Fishers, Indiana, a northwest suburb of Indianapolis. The hospital focuses on surgical services for cardiovascular and orthopaedics and provides residents with the latest advancements in medical care. It offers 24/7 urgent heart care coverage and is home to the IU Health Hip and Knee Center, performing more hip and knee replacements than any other IU Health facility in the state. IU Health Fishers Hospital is dedicated to the Fishers community and promotes wellness. The campus has been designated as a Dementia Friends facility, with staff training in dementia care for all employees.
