Vascular Surgery
– Staten Island University Hospital, Northwell Health. Northwell Health in conjunction with Staten Island University Hospital is seeking a full-time Vascular Surgeon to join the faculty. The ideal candidate would possess excellent clinical and technical skills and take a collaborative approach to patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled fellowship-trained vascular surgeon with strong leadership qualities to bring their vision and energy to the development of a growing vascular practice. Responsibilities
In- and out-patient care of a wide array of vascular surgery patients. Provide the full spectrum of elective and emergency vascular surgical procedures. Collaborate with the Division to expand vascular surgical services. Demonstrate excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, and a passion for patient care. Qualifications
Board eligible or board certified vascular surgeon. Fellowship-trained in vascular surgery. Strong leadership qualities and ability to contribute to the development of a growing vascular program. Faculty appointment at Zucker School of Medicine as part of the position. About the institutions
Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH) is a 714-bed teaching hospital with two campuses. The North campus houses an emergency department, a Level 1 trauma center with 36 ICU beds, a modern education center and a medical arts pavilion. The South campus offers additional emergency services and specialty programs. The Department of Surgery at SIUH comprises 40 full-time and 6 part-time physicians across multiple surgical disciplines.
