DENTAL CLINICAL MANAGER, School of Dental Medicine, Dental Health Center The Clinical Manager for the School of Dental Medicine will manage the clinical care staffing and support functions of the delivery of care at the Dental Health Center to ensure that patients are provided with treatment without interruption and delivered with the best care possible. Responsibilities

Manage all functions and assignments of the clinical support staff. Assign all support staff daily/weekly with their assignments to support providers in the delivery of care by assisting, imaging, sterilization and all other patient care related activities. Ensure coverage is consistent and schedule is adhered to. Adjust schedules as needed to ensure adequate coverage for all clinical functions. Work closely with senior leadership to cover clinic during peak periods and training of all new clinical support staff and ensure all DPH guidelines are adhered to. Distribute radiology badges and maintain records to ensure implementation of all OSHA and DHC policies including enforcing PPE requirements. Adhere to budgetary guidelines by maintaining inventory control for all supplies and outside contracted services. Act as a liaison to vendors on behalf of the center for equipment and supplies. Monitor quality control of all impressions/models sent to commercial labs and coordinate with labs and providers for timely delivery of cases to meet patient satisfaction and revenue goals. Manage conflict resolution among dental assistants and ensure timely resolution of problems. Managerial responsibilities

Act as a role model to staff, handle difficult situations, and support team building, coaching and mentoring. Deliver disciplinary actions as needed such as verbal or written warnings and plans for improvement. Develop skill sets of the clinical team to meet expectations and maintain good working relationships school-wide. Ensure DHC equipment is in optimal condition to prevent interruptions to patient care. Maintain equipment maintenance and repair schedules; ensure instruments are sterilized to meet OSHA and DPH guidelines. Maintain digital equipment and liaise with IT to resolve connections or computer issues affecting clinic operations. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience. Required MA Dental Assistant License. Job Location
