Software Quality IT Engineer , testing Aspen systems providing next generation Engineering, Manufacturing, and Asset Optimization solutions. This is your opportunity to play an important role in this cutting-edge transformation. You will administer integrated test environments for our market-leading Operational Technology (OT) products, with a key objective of enhancing and verifying utility-like test environments using some of the latest industry technologies. You will manage robust test environments to search out product issues while assuring that the product line conforms to established system requirements and standards. You will also be responsible for automating system deployment and verification to proactively drive quality best practices while collaborating with R&D and Professional Services. Your Impact

Proactively own, manage and enhance multiple internal large-scale and live-simulated integrated testing environments like a live customer system Design and configure hardware, networking, operating systems, and supporting 3rd party software in multiple internal integrated testing environments Design and implement cyber security best practices in alignment with AspenTech and regulatory requirements and best practices Perform agile testing and verification of 3rd party and monarch system components Work with a variety of internal technical teams and software developers Significantly contribute to end-user software and system quality and usability What You'll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, System Administration, Network Administration, or related field 0-3 years’ work experience High level scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell scripting) Proficient with Linux and Windows environments System Administration experience (small system or personal networks is great) Detailed understanding of network concepts (LANs, network protocols, web technologies, etc.) Experience in virtual environment administration (VMWare / vSphere, Hyper-V) Ability to work with a wide range of internal technical system users Experience working with various IT software products (Cisco, Dell, HP, etc.) Experience with database administration (Mongo, Cassandra, etc.) Networking or Operating System certifications Cyber Security certifications Experience with Operating System hardening (Windows, Linux) AspenTech will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
