Overview
Position Overview: The Merchandising Manager, Bags/SLGs role is responsible for delighting Quince’s growing customer base by expanding and managing the Bags/SLGs product assortment on Quince. At Quince, we believe that everyone deserves access to high quality products at radically affordable prices. We aim to build on our value proposition in Women’s Bags/SLGs by managing assortment, revenue and margins, and the overall growth trajectory of that product category. Quince has proven consumer value in apparel and accessories and a loyal, repeat customer base. This merchant-led Women’s Bags/SLG category lead will be responsible for managing the assortment strategy, revenue and margins, and growth trajectory of that product class. Responsibilities
Lead the strategy for the Women’s Bags/SLGs category, including assortment planning, pricing, and supplier partnerships. Expand and manage the product assortment to drive revenue, margins, and overall category growth. Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to build and execute the category strategy. Leverage data and market indicators to inform decisions and optimize product performance. Drive innovation and scalability through technology-enabled product strategy. Ideal Candidate
7-10 years of retail merchandising experience in the Handbags (leather) category, preferably with luxury expertise E-commerce and/or DTC experience preferred Proven track record of progression within an organization and expanding responsibilities Product-obsessed with experience leveraging data tools and external sources Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with focus on execution Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Independent learner and executor, collaborative with external partners Motivated by working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with flexibility across functions Bachelor’s Degree preferred SF/Bay Area based Qualifications & Requirements
In-office presence: 3 days per week Location: San Francisco Bay Area preferred Compensation: Pay Range $90,000 - $140,000 USD We rely on market indicators and consider your background, skills, and experience to determine compensation within the market range.
