Security Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring premises, patrolling locations, and enforcing site regulations pertaining to personnel and visitors. Officers may provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers as part of daily duties. Responsibilities
Surveillance: Monitor security cameras and patrol assigned premises to detect suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or safety hazards. Access Control: Enforce access control policies, such as checking identification, issuing visitor passes, and restricting access to authorized personnel only. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents; report or escalate incidents to appropriate authorities as needed. Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, breaches of security, or safety concerns in clear, accurate, and detailed reports. Patrolling: Conduct foot or vehicle patrols to secure entrances, parking lots, and perimeters; check for unlocked or tampered doors, windows, or gates. Customer Service: Greet and assist visitors or employees, providing directions and answering inquiries in a professional manner. Safety Inspections: Inspect premises for hazards, fire risks, or conditions that could compromise safety. Conflict Resolution: Address minor disturbances using conflict resolution skills to maintain a calm environment. Collaboration: Coordinate security efforts with other staff, law enforcement, or emergency responders as needed. Qualifications
Excellent observational and de-escalation skills; able to remain calm under pressure Strong communicator; able to work with both global and local security teams Ethical practices and adherence to safety protocols; maintains a safe and respectful approach Requirements
At least 18 years of age Reliable means of communication and transportation Legal right to work in the United States Ability to effectively speak, read, and write English High school diploma, GED, or equivalent 1+ years of security experience or equivalent 2+ years of exceptional customer service experience or equivalent Benefits
