Senior Staff Software Engineer, Data, Cloud Memorystore – Google Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership on projects. Coach a team of engineers and lead the team in implementing and delivering functionality to customers with demanding workloads. Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Partner with Product Managers to define product direction and priorities, and collaborate with other Google Cloud Platform (GCP) teams to drive alignment and integrations. Minimum qualifications

Bachelor2s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in software development. 5 years of experience with design and architecture with testing/launching software products. Experience with Redis, Memcached, or other caching or database systems. Experience in designing and developing performance systems with multithreading and synchronization. Preferred qualifications

Masters degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms. 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role with leading project teams and setting technical direction. 3 years of experience with cross-functional or cross-business projects. Experience in building managed services like Caching, Proxy, Database or Storage. About the job

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
