Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified

Vascular Neurologist

to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance. 10-14 patients per day. Call shared with Neurohospitalists when on duty. APP support. Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $333.48/hr Responsibilities

Works as a neurohospitalist/stroke neurologist in rotation with other members of the neurohospitalist/stroke neurology team across the spectrum of care from ED to ICU to floor care to hospital discharge Collaborates with other specialties in the multidisciplinary care of neurology/stroke patients Participates in development and maintenance of clinical pathways in coordination with other specialties to provide highly reliable, high-quality care for stroke patients in alignment with certifying bodies Participates in quality improvement work in stroke and neurology by determining key performance indicators, process metrics and outcomes measures Provides stroke-specific review of cases referred to the medical staff Participates in peer review committee on an ad hoc basis Participates in recruitment and retention of physicians and APPs on the neuroscience team (neurology, neurohospitalist, neurosurgery, neurointervention)

Qualifications

M.D./D.O. with residency training in an approved ACGME Neurology program. Board eligible or certified in Neurology Fellowship training and board certification/eligibility in Vascular Neurology (Stroke) Current New Mexico License required
