Open to BC/BE Neurologists with a commitment to both patient care and academic growth. The successful candidate will be a dynamic Cognitive/Dementia Specialist. Leadership opportunities available depending on qualifications. Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions. Medical student and Neurology resident education, including supervision in clinics, grand rounds, and didactic conferences. Participation in departmental activities and contributing to the growth of the Dementia program. Mentoring and providing clinical expertise to faculty and residents. Large patient volume potential and leadership potential. Louisiana has the 5th highest Alzheimer’s mortality rate in the US and North Louisiana has a particularly large burden of disease. Potential to be the expert in the field in this region. Resources & Facilities

Dedicated Infusion Center Multi-disciplinary Care Academic Medical department with the largest concentration of Subspecialty Neurologists in the Ark-La-Tex region. School of Medicine Faculty and collaborations with the Graduate School and Allied Health Compensation and Benefits
