A Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking a Locum Anesthesiologist for ongoing coverage. This is a contract/locum opportunity hosted by Jobot Consulting. Base pay range is $100.00/hr – $1,000.00/hr, with actual compensation based on skills and experience. Job Details
Position: Anesthesiologist (General & Specialty Anesthesia) Location: Wisconsin (various facilities) Employment type: Contract / Locum Tenens Schedule: Full-time/Week-long coverage preferred with flexibility in weekday shifts (typically 7 am – 3 pm) and on-call coverage (including weekends). Weekend 24-hour call coverage may be required. Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of cases including general, trauma, spinal, epidural, OB/GYN, neurosurgical (head and spine), open heart, thoracic, complex vascular, and orthopedic procedures. Administer anesthesia for pain management procedures (post-op epidural, lumbar and cervical epidural steroid injections, extremity blocks, transforaminal blocks). Manage ventilation and respiratory care, including ventilator management and airway maintenance. Utilize imaging guidance for regional blocks and epidural procedures. Perform advanced techniques (central line, arterial line, PA catheter placements) and manage acute volume/BP issues. Supervise CRNAs and other anesthesia staff in a collaborative team environment. Provide anesthesia services in a variety of clinical settings, including routine, trauma, and complex procedures. Respond to on-call duties including weekend 24-hour call coverage and weekday overnight shifts as required. Qualifications & Experience
Board-certified or Board-eligible Anesthesiologist. Experience with general anesthesia; adult anesthesia preferred; pediatric and neonatal anesthesia preferred. Experience with spinal, epidural, regional anesthesia, OB cases, neurosurgical cases (head and spine), open heart anesthesia, thoracic cases, complex vascular surgeries, and pain management techniques. Expertise in post-op epidurals, epidural steroid injections, extremity blocks, and transforaminal blocks (lumbar and cervical). Ability to perform advanced procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement, PA catheter placement, and use of x-ray guidance for blocks. Ventilator management experience and evaluation/management of acute volume and BP issues. CRNA supervision experience preferred, but not required. ACLS and BLS certifications required. Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days. EMR system: Epic. Compensation & Benefits
