Overview
Solutions Architect with AWS, GenAI & ML expertise to help shape the technical strategy and architecture for enterprise solutions. Design and implement innovative, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions and define the AWS architecture for enterprise-scale projects, integrating AI/ML and automation into cloud environments. Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate the AWS solution architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. AWS Solution Design: Architect and deploy scalable, resilient, and secure solutions using AWS services (compute, storage, networking, security, DevOps) and optimize for cost, performance, and reliability. Design integration of on‑premises systems with AWS cloud solutions. Implement serverless and microservices architectures leveraging AWS tools such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway. Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and AWS Well-Architected Framework principles. GitHub Management and CI/CD Automation: Oversee GitHub repositories, design and implement CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), establish branching strategies, enforce code quality with automated checks, manage repository permissions, and promote GitHub workflows adoption. Data Architecture: Design and implement data pipelines, data lakes, and real-time processing on AWS using Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, and Athena. Establish data governance and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to operationalize AI/ML models. AI/ML and Generative AI Integration: Architect and deploy AI/ML solutions on AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, etc.), implement GenAI applications (LLMs, NLP, computer vision), and optimize AI/ML workflows for scalability, performance, and cost. Solution Design and Automation: Review design/development of Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, and Angular applications, ensuring integration with AWS services and producing architectural blueprints and AWS solution diagrams. Leadership and Mentorship: Participate in Architectural Review Board (ARB), build and mentor a team of architects, engineers, and data scientists, and provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles. Continuous Improvement: Assess existing architectures for modernization opportunities, stay current with AWS and AI/ML trends, and conduct architectural reviews to align with best practices. Qualifications and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred). 15 years of technology architecture experience, with 7 years designing AWS-based solutions. Proven experience leading enterprise-scale cloud transformation projects. Technical Skills
AWS Expertise: Compute (Lambda, EC2, ECS, EKS); Data (Redshift, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Glue, Kinesis); Security (IAM, KMS, Cognito); Networking (API Gateway, VPC, CloudFront); DevOps (CloudFormation, Terraform, CodePipeline, Jenkins); Java/Java EE/Spring/Angular proficiency; AI/ML tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, SageMaker); data architecture and ETL pipelines. Certifications
Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional); AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty (Optional); AI/ML certifications (Optional). Domain Knowledge
Industry experience in Property & Casualty Insurance or other data-intensive sectors preferred; familiarity with policy, claims, and billing systems preferred.
