We are seeking a forward-thinking Medical Director Veterinarian to lead a thriving small-animal hospital in Denver, CO. This state-of-the-art facility opened its doors in 2022 and has quickly become a cornerstone of veterinary care in the Central Park neighborhood. With modern equipment, a strong support and 2 DVM team, and a loyal client base, this is an opportunity to step into a leadership role with both clinical and strategic influence. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound, and benefits from partnerships with mobile specialists in surgery, radiology, and internal medicine. You’ll also collaborate with sister hospitals in the Denver area, ensuring a broad professional network and access to advanced expertise. As Medical Director, you’ll balance clinical excellence with team leadership, guiding associate veterinarians, ensuring high standards of care, and supporting the growth of both the hospital and its people. Balance clinical excellence with team leadership to maintain high standards of care. Mentor and guide associate veterinarians; support growth of the hospital and staff. Collaborate with mobile specialists and sister hospitals to leverage a broad professional network. Participate in strategic planning and operational improvements for the practice. Represent the hospital in the community and with external partners as needed. Qualifications
DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US Colorado licensure or eligibility Strong leadership and communication skills Passion for mentoring, team development, and driving standards of care Interest in contributing to both clinical excellence and practice growth All licensing, DEA, and professional memberships (AVMA, VIN, etc.) covered Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Base salary plus production and bonuses Annual Medical Director stipend and sign-on bonus Equity/ownership opportunities available 4-day work week (average 36–40 hours), rotating Saturdays Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with 3.5% employer match Generous PTO and additional time off for CE CE allowance with unlimited growth opportunities Next Steps
