Overview

Pali Momi Medical Center offers 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, delivering a full range of services to the Central and West O’ahu communities. The hospital has implemented medical firsts, including Central and West O’ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai‘i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. The Medical/Surgical department provides quality and safe care to patients admitted for acute nursing interventions of 24 hours or more within medical/surgical and oncology services. Our staff treats people recovering from serious illness, orthopedic problems, and major surgery, in a warm and caring environment that facilitates recovery. Responsibilities

Provide warm, compassionate patient care as a Nurse Aide in Telemetry Med Surg on the 5th Floor. Assist with a wide variety of nursing care duties and procedures under supervision. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality health care. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent; completion of nurse aide course with certification OR completion of nursing fundamentals OR RN certificate from a foreign country OR military corpsman certificate OR successful completion of an EMT or MICT training program OR successful completion of HPH Nurse Aide Program. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life (BLS) CPR card. Preferred Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i CNA certificate; one year clinical experience. Employment Details
