Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Overview Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Mount St. Vincent in Portland, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift. Sign-on bonus available for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment. Description Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Or Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Preferred Qualifications 2 years of clinical experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
