As Head of Retail Pricing you will be responsible for pricing, business development, in force management and other aspects of client management for Hannover’s retail and direct insurance and reinsurance business. Overseeing and managing pricing functions for Retail business including new business opportunities and in force management Preparing new business proposals including the commercial terms Managing the sustainability of in force business by working with clients and successfully implementing repricing Assisting the GM, Retail in carrying out the reasonable steps under FAR Participating in and contributing to marketing and business development activities Developing and maintaining a client network in the market and keep abreast of market development Engaging effectively with internal stakeholders, including seeking signoffs and onboarding Developing and maintaining pricing bases and tools Preparing and updating contract documents Leading the Retail Pricing team, setting and monitoring clear performance standards and providing ongoing guidance and positive reinforcement You come equipped with
Experience & Qualifications: FIAA or equivalent Degree in Actuarial Science or other related field Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial services Exceptional business acumen and strategic commercial thinking Excellent people, relationship management and interpersonal skills Strong technical actuarial skills Ability to liaise at Board and senior level Excellent organisation, attention to detail, time management and ability to prioritise effectively Clear and effective communication both written and verbal Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team It is a requirement that all applicants have unlimited rights to work in Australia i.e. must either be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency.
