Senior Fixed Operations Manager - Central Virginia

Location: Central Virginia Job Schedule: Full-time Education Requirement: Bachelor's Sponsorship: No Overview We are currently looking for a SR FOM to join our team in Central Virginia. This role supports assigned dealerships to deliver top tier Customer Experience, Retention, Dealer Profitability and Purchase Loyalty through efficient operations, sales effectiveness and OEM representation efforts. Works with district-facing Dealer Operations Manager to synergize operations and partners with other districts to maximize regional and national Accessories, Parts, & Service (APS) opportunities. Districts may consist of 8 to 19 Dealerships depending on complexity and geographic factors. Responsibilities

Conduct routine dealership visits with Sales & Aftersales staff, dealership management and Dealer Principal to assess all aspects of Aftersales operations. Provide consultative coaching and action plans to improve Accessories, Parts, & Service (APS) opportunities. Identify areas of improvement and partner with assigned dealerships to implement improvements and corrective actions to drive Customer Experience, Retention, Dealer Profitability, and Loyalty. Assess accessories, parts and service operations through routine site visits using the 5 Mindsets approach (Convenience, Quality, Competitiveness, Transparency and Friendliness) to build a consumer value proposition and align on Aftersales Core Processes. Deliver training and program implementation by recommending NNA supporting tools, technologies and proven service processes (Initiation, Reception, Communication, Delivery, Follow up). Work with the Regional Aftersales Manager (RAM) to monitor service staff expertise and training. Promote Technician Certification training and support recognition and achievements. Review marketing and advertising plans for dealerships and assess current effectiveness. Align dealership marketing, CRM, Social, website, eCommerce and BDC platforms with NNA National and Regional marketing initiatives. Introduce new marketing programs and techniques. Demonstrate positive impact to dealerships' financial statements to secure buy-in. Review APS sales reports and understand external services used or considered by dealership. Encourage use of Nissan/Infiniti approved parts vendors to improve dealer costs and supply. Develop advertising and promotion plans to counter negativity from warranty issues. Perform dealer financial statement and operational analyses to identify opportunities in process, throughput, capacity, staffing, facilities, sales effectiveness, marketing, and industry best practices. Use Key Ratio management to align with NNA and industry benchmarks and implement consultative sales techniques. Improve sales effectiveness by reviewing NNA and industry benchmark data to uncover opportunities in accessories, service lane sales, internal and wholesale. Develop dealer engagement in Parts, Wholesale and Accessory business. Review APS performance reports with Dealer Principal and management regarding compliance with company standards and agreements. Monitor cash flow, inventory and capital as it pertains to APS. Assist AGM and dealership management to improve financial strength through increased APS sales and operations. Work with Dealer Principal to set goals to improve Fixed Absorption Rate and ROS, and identify HR issues and training needs. Assess staffing levels and training needs. Advise management on performance improvement plans, documentation, feedback, coaching and training. Identify causes of high staff turnover and address issues with appropriate management. Educate dealership personnel on incentive programs and assist with implementation and proper application of programs. Ensure compliance with rules and requirements for incentive payments. Analyze reports and sales results to demonstrate programs’ financial impact; monitor parts inventories and dealership tracking systems. Ensure efficient inventory control to provide timely service for customers. Support service operations for commercial, fleet, electric and specialty lines. Support Nissan/Infiniti technologies in parts inventory management and sales operations. Evaluate and analyze dealership sell-out and sell-in data and on-site inspections to determine parts loyalty. Develop action plans to improve profitability, sales effectiveness and client retention through brand loyalty. Coordinate with DTM Management on quality of customer interface and service practices in P&S operations. Participate in CSI reviews and address issues with dealerships; clone best practices and develop action plans to enhance customer satisfaction. Manage goodwill decisions and authorizations. Monitor staff performance via real-time technology tools and customer satisfaction scores. Understand sources of customer complaints and address with management. Assist AGM with Market Representation issues and actions within assigned dealerships. Maintain awareness of competing dealerships and incorporate market expansion opportunities into P&S plans to maximize sales. Include impact of new openings/closures in district marketing and sales plans; support AGM in documentation of good standing. With AGM support, may deliver official communications to APS Managers and Dealer Principals regarding standing. Understand dos and don'ts when dealing with dealership matters. Assist with logistics for opening/closing dealership operations. Support dealership, district, region and national efforts through presence at auto shows and special events promoting brands and sales. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field required. Minimum 6 years of progressive Marketing and Sales experience for senior level, including at least 3 years of analytical experience in automotive industry specialties. Experience may be within a dealership, region, headquarters, or manufacturing facility; prior roles may include Analyst or Regional Manager levels or similar. At least 2 years in a dealer contact support role (e.g., WDM, FOM, FSM, or DOM) or equivalent for advancement to senior level. Supervisory and sales experience desirable. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and PC/mainframe applications; knowledge of sales-related systems. Ability to prioritize and organize workload with minimal supervision. Ability to operate effectively in a virtual office environment. Ability to act in the best interests of the dealership and Nissan; maintain objectivity in relationship-building. Commitment to meeting internal and external customer expectations; attentive to others’ opinions. Ability to influence through dealership knowledge, clear communication, honesty, and follow-through. Result-driven, able to handle resistance or setbacks; capable of presenting ideas and analysis effectively. Ability to analyze complex situations and seek help when needed.
