Foundation. The role develops and manages WSU’s Corporate Cougs alumni and affinity group program to enhance university engagement with alumni employed by key corporate partners; leads the establishment of corporate alumni networks, manages related data and communications, and coordinates internal partnerships to support cross-campus collaboration with Fundraising Units. Responsibilities
Develop and manage WSU’s Corporate Cougs alumni and affinity group program to enhance engagement with alumni employed by key corporate partners. Lead the establishment of corporate alumni networks at select companies; manage related data and communications. Coordinate internal partnerships to support cross-campus collaboration with Fundraising Units. Identify and track corporate giving opportunities; manage matching gift initiatives; create and maintain stewardship and sponsorship resources. Demonstrate independent judgment and initiative; maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism while representing the university to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of related experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Experience in corporate philanthropy and development, fundraising, volunteer management, and/or non-profit work. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience managing multiple projects and setting priorities. Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet driving standards. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends; ability to travel. Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with corporate giving trends and philanthropic landscape. Ability to plan and execute fundraising projects from conception to realization. Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders. Experience in writing proposals and with alumni/donor database applications. Experience with donor prospect research and moves management systems. Details
Employment type: Admin Professional (+) (Fixed Term); 100% FTE; remote position but located in the Greater Seattle area. Start Date: January 2026. Temporary End Date: December 31, 2027. May be eligible for permanent status based on performance and funding. Monthly Salary: $5,337.47 – $8,175.11; benefits included. Background Check: Required as part of the hiring process.
